Terminal 2 earned its nickname when the Queen opened it in 2014, purpose-built to bring Heathrow’s Star Alliance network under one roof. Over 20 million passengers pass through it every year, and on a Star Alliance-heavy morning, the Arrivals Hall can feel like the whole world landed at once.
If you’re flying long-haul with Singapore Airlines, ANA or Turkish Airlines, or connecting through Lufthansa’s Frankfurt hub, this is almost certainly your terminal. Check-in is split across Zone A and Zone B, so it’s worth having your airline’s zone noted before you set off for departures.
